Besa's Italian Restaurant & Pizza

Our original dinner plans fell through, so we were looking for another option when we came across Besa's. I have never been so thankful for canceled plans. Besa's was fantastic and far exceeded our expectations. The rolls were warm and the Greek salad was crisp and fresh. It was a great start to our meal. (Pro tip: ask for the house tomato balsamic vinaigrette as a dipping sauce for your rolls) We ordered salmon piccata, chicken piccata, and BBQ chicken pizza. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. The chef cooked the salmon perfectly and was generous with the capers, which was an added bonus for me. My wife loved the chicken and remarked at its tenderness. The pizza was so good, my son ate all but one slice. Do yourself a favor and indulge in a slice of limoncello cake. It was delicious! Besa's is a family-run restaurant, and if you get to talk to Shend, you will understand when I say their food is made with love. We will definitely be back next time we are in Plano!

My brother saw the restaurant and we both went it since we were up both for some Italian. The service was great, our waiter was had such an amazing vibe it really made me love the place more. For a person that just ate olive garden, I can tell from the first bite of my cheese ravioli that this was so delicious and the best pasta I have ever tasted. The tomato sauce tastes amazing and even the color of it gives it off as if its is made pure from scratch. This restaurant will now be my #1 Italian Restaurant, its quite the drive where I am from but it definitely worth it. A restaurant with great waiter service, delicious food, and a peaceful atmosphere is more than I could ask for!

First time trying this place! I googled “Italian places near me” and this was one of the top choices, SO HAPPY I CAME HERE!! The owner welcomed us at the door and thanked us immediately for coming in, something you don’t get in restaurants these days!! The son was super friendly and chatty, we love a friendly homegrown restaurant!!! We then ordered the Bruschetta, DELICIOUS!! I got the Chicken Picata and my girlfriend got the Buffalo Pizza. The crust on the pizza was cooked PERFECTLY, soft but crunchy crust and the bottom was still the color dough should be! (Definitely not raw nor overcooked!!). The picata was absolutely wonderful, with each bite it filled with amazing flavor, from savory to that little pitch of bitter with the lemon and capers. The food was perfectly cooked, cook to order and didn’t wait long at all. I WILL BE BACK!! Thank you so much for an amazing experience, food, and atmosphere.

If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would!! As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the owner and seated by him as well. You are thanked for coming in and the atmosphere feels homey and inviting. We had some questions about the appetizer and the owner had no problem explaining the dishes to better understand them. After receiving our food (which took long enough to make the items fresh) we were in awe. The food presentation was spectacular. The taste was immaculate. The service was extraordinary!! I understand why he’s been in business for the last 22 years!! The son came and spoke with us towards the end of our meal. He was very upbeat and welcoming. We gave him an idea for a chicken piccata pizza and he was intrigued and made us feel apart of the family!! If the economy wasn’t so poor, I’d eat here every night!! This place has made me love Italian food more than ever before. We will be back!! This place is too good not to!! :))
